Wojciech Czepiel – 24 Duos for Two Violins.

The music sheets are available for order through the website of PWM Editions.

Some of these duos had their first performance on 15th November 2020 in New York during the 22nd International Chopin&Friends Festival, where they were played by the String Noise Duo. The Polish premiere took place on 8th October 2022 in Nowy Targ, where the pieces were performed by Joanna Konarzewska and Paweł Stawarski.

Wojciech Czepiel – Piano Sonata.

The piece was firstly composed in 2023 and revised in 2025. It is dedicated to the excellent Polish pianist Joanna Marcinkowska. The Sonata has been created thanks to the financial support by the Complex of Hydropower Plants in Niedzica.

Wojciech Czepiel – The cycle of piano works Pieniny Piano Dreams.

It is a cycle of seven miniatures inspired by the elements of musical folclore of the Pieniny mountain region. The pieces have different level of difficulty, although together they establish a colorful and pianistically spectacular wholeness. The cycle was created thanks to the financial support by the Complex of Hydropower Plants in Niedzica.

Wojciech Czepiel – Three Mazurkas for Piano.

The pieces were commissioned by the Fryderyk Chopin Society of Texas and are dedicated to Polish pianist Nina Drath. The premiere of the first Mazurka took place in Carnegie Hall in New York on 14th September 2018, where the piece was played by Andrea Aquilar. The whole set of Three Mazurkas has been premiered in the Opera House of Cho Chi Minh City on 20th November 2022, where the pieces were performed by Joanna Marcinkowska.

Wojciech Czepiel – Partita for instrumental ensemble.

This three-part musical piece is written for 18 instruments, but can be also performed with an enlarged string section. The composition has been premiered in Hanoi on 30th November 2018 by the Hanoi New Music Ensemble under Wojciech Czepiel’s direction.

Wojciech Czepiel – Sequenza I for symphonic orchestra.

The piece was commissioned by Józef Wiłkomirski – the Director of Sudety Philharmonic, and has been premiered in the mentioned Philharmonic in 1991 under the composer’s direction.

Wojciech Czepiel – Sequenza II for symphonic orchestra.

The piece was commissioned by the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra and was premiered on 24th November 2017 under the composer’s direction.

Wojciech Czepiel – String Quartet.

The piece was composed thanks to the financial support of the Society of Authors ZAiKS. The world premiere of the Quartet took place in 2022 in the Concert Aula of the Secondary Music School in Nowy Targ, where the piece was performed by Malawski String Quartet.

The music materials were published by MUZO and now they are available from the composer.

Wojciech Czepiel - Studium Pieniny 2016 for orchestra.

 The composition was inspired by the musical elements of Pieniny folclore. In combination with the aleatoric technique and the traditional notation, Studium Pieniny 2016 ended up being a really varied and impressive composition.

The first performance took place in 2016 in Krościenko nad Dunajcem – the family town of the composer. The composition was performed by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra under the direction of Wojciech Czepiel. The premiere has been welcomed with an enthusiastic standing ovation which confirms that a sensitive listener would understand contemporary music without major obstacles, and even would become impressed by it.

Wojciech Czepiel – Violin Sonata.

The piece was composed in 1974 and has been performed several times by the composer. It is a quite difficult yet impressive three-part composition whose musical language is close to what we hear in many pieces composed at the turn of 20th and 21st centuries.

Wojciech Czepiel – Cadenzas for Mozart’s Third Violin Concerto.

Those Cadenzas were composed by Wojciech Czepiel in 1975. As a violinist, the composer often performed the Cadenzas himself while he was playing Mozart’s concert. Wojciech Czepiel also presented his Cadenzas during the Henryk Wieniawski Competition in 1977.
